HOLIDAY INN AT OCOTILLO RECEIVES A WARM WELCOME

CHANDLER, AZ, May 13, 2004-Located on the edge of the beautiful Ocotillo Golf Course; this new full-service Holiday Inn prototype received a warm welcome from the community recently.

          The hotel officially opened on March 15, 2004 and had an astounding Grand Opening celebration on Thursday, May 13, 2004 with over 400 people in attendance.  The event included the music of Joe Borne, fantastic Italian cuisine, and the official ribbon cutting.

          The hotel is a much needed addition to the expanding Ocotillo and Southern Chandler area and is not quite like any other Holiday Inn in the country. “This is not your mom and dad’s Holiday Inn!” stated Chandler Mayor, Boyd Dunn during his speech at the celebration.  Grand Opening attendees included members from the Chandler Chamber of Commerce, Tempe Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Phoenix Convention and Visitor Bureau. 

          The hotel stands apart from other hotels by the use of rich colors, quality "Old World" décor, and modern amenities. The Tuscan feel flows throughout the complex and accentuated through the use of hand stained cabinetry, high quality marble and European tile. The hotel features 106 rooms, large banquet hall, board room, The Ponte Vecchio restaurant and bar, Fitness Center, High-Speed Internet access, 24-hour Business Center, heated pool, and Jacuzzi. The hotel offers full onsite catering and has 2000-square-feet of meeting space for banquets, corporate meetings, and events.

The Holiday Inn at Ocotillo is owned by Northface Investments and managed by Cima Enterprises. Northface Investments currently has several hotels in development throughout Arizona.
