HOLIDAY INN AT OCOTILLO CELEBRATES FIRST YEAR
CHANDLER, AZ, March 17, 2005-Located on the edge of the beautiful Ocotillo Golf Course in Chandler, the Holiday Inn at Ocotillo recently celebrated their one year anniversary.
The hotel officially opened on March 15, 2004, and had an astounding opening year. Since opening, the hotel has received prestigious recognition and support throughout the local community by participating and sponsoring such events as the Arizona Balloon Festival, the beloved Ostrich Festival, Ocotillo Health Watch, Firebird International Raceway Events, and the upcoming Chandler Jazz Festival. The hotel has been the resting place for such guests as the United States Olympic Gymnastics team, the Arizona Cardinals, several internationally known bands, and several Hollywood stars. The hotel has also been featured on several radio shows and numerous publications for its unique design and desirable location.
The hotel is a much needed addition to the expanding Ocotillo and Southern Chandler area and is not quite like any other Holiday Inn in the country. “This is not your mom and dad’s Holiday Inn!” stated Chandler Mayor, Boyd Dunn during his speech at the Grand Opening last year. The hotel is an official prototype for the Holiday Inn brand that combines the full-service amenities such as a restaurant and banquet hall with the intimate feeling of a Holiday Express.
The Tuscan-themed hotel stands apart from others with the use of hand stained cabinetry, high quality marble and European tile. The hotel features 106 rooms, large banquet hall, board room, The Ponte Vecchio restaurant and bar, Fitness Center, Free High-Speed Internet access, 24-hour Business Center, heated pool, and Jacuzzi. The hotel offers full onsite catering and has 2000-square-feet of meeting space for banquets, corporate meetings, and events.
The Holiday Inn at Ocotillo is owned by Northface Investments and managed by Cima Enterprises. Northface Investments currently has several hotels in development throughout Arizona.
